Lens is the title of a series of works, which was begun in 1999. As tools for these works I use a camera and a circular, concave mirror with a
diameter of 50 cm. I usually add to the title the placename in brackets
specifying the place where the photograph was taken or the designation of
whatever it reflects. I sometimes detach the mirror from its surroundings, even though it always keeps both the dimension and form as well as the position, which it occupied in the first place in the original photograph. My way of looking when taking the photographs is indirect, I see whatever the mirror sees.
