225 floor-to-ceiling painted stainless steel tubes provide space for 450 bikes as bicycle stands. The color concept also includes the floor, walls and ceiling of the driveway and the garage floor.
... “With “UNDERSCAPE”, Georgia Creimer and Martin Stenger have created an overall architectural-artistic design that represents a convincing implementation of the structural requirements both in the structural design of the bicycle parking spaces and in the spatial design and management of the routes. The elegant and airy room atmosphere only gives an idea of the meticulous planning and detailed execution behind it. The aesthetically highly sensitive design of the bicycle stands, which are own design, combines practical and elegant design with the requirements of robustness and safety. By conceptually incorporating nature, the “depth” of the garage is understood as part of an organic environment.
